Some New York subway map purists are also taking the poster to task for playing fast and loose with the line colours – to them, the 1, 2 and 3 should all be red, and the 4, 5 and 6 should all be green. However, that would make a pretty dull poster!

Like the official poster, Gil🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s assigns a line to each movie, but defines the “Ghost Face” more with geographical features than the lines themselves. As a result, his design perhaps evokes the actual New York subway map more than the official poster, which seems a little more generic.

It🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s had a lot of people crying plagiarism and theft of design (though Gil himself is being more diplomatic), but I🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页m not entirely convinced. 🔸澳洲10定位胆全天计划off – given the movie🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s location and plot, this basic concept is almost guaranteed🔸澳洲幸运10预测 to be one of the 🔸澳洲10定位胆全天计划things that any graphic designer worth their salt would think of. It🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s almost a no brainer, and many art directors that I🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页ve worked under would dismiss it as being “too obvious”, wanting me to push harder for a more original idea. To my mind, it🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s entirely plausible that these two concepts were arrived at independently of each other.

Secondly, the gap of a a month between Gil 🔸澳洲10定位胆全天计划posting his concept and the official poster being released isn🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页t necessarily as damning as it looks. It🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s very possible that the official poster started development long before December 3, but had to cycle through multiple iterations and approvals before being released – things don🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页t always move fast 🔸澳洲开奖 there🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s multiple stakeholders in play.

I actually think the attention to detail for such a minor set element is wonderful to see. Check out the video that Peter mentions below for a quick look at the map in-situ in the actual show, which looks kind of incredible.

The whole trip is superimposed on a “comics” version of the New York Subway Map, which is actually fairly faithful to the real thing in terms of placement of elements, though it🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s been simplified a lot with the removal of the underlying street grid. A bold choice by this reality🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s MTA to go with hexagons for station markers and service bullets! Today’s installment of “Shut Up and Take My Money” showcases these simply stunning printed circuit board iPhone cases that represent the rail network of Tokyo by Japanese company MOECO. From their website (via Google Translate):

I drew a railroad line in Tokyo with the wiring pattern of printed circuit board. Designed with board CAD, electronic components are mounted on board. Genuine board, genuine electronic parts. The pattern is gold-plated.

A 3.2 mm red LED at Tokyo station, 2 mm resistors at 7 main stations, 1.6 mm resistors at 29 stations with 29 getting on/off stations, 1 mm at 1 transit station 213 station, 1.6 mm at a station We have installed capacitors. We are implementing electronic parts in total of 251 stations.

Gold plated board. After mounting the electronic parts, we seal it with super clear resin (part of electronic parts may be exposed). In addition, the surface of the black resin case has been painted with soft paint that does not scratch easily.

All I can say is that these look absolutely incredible. Starting at 12,000 yen (around $100), they’re certainly not cheap… but wow. Take a look through their site for other cities as well.

It sure does, although it has a cunningly crafted square “T” logo to prevent confusion with the real thing. The background water layer has also been deleted, probably to make the route lines stand out a little more obviously. Curiously, it’s labelled as a “bus routes map”, but overall, this is a lovely little piece of detail for a scene that probably only appeared for a very short time within the episode.

Found on the band’s official YouTube channel, though I don’t think it’s the song’s actual official music video: that would be this one. 

The song – from R.E.M.’s last studio album, Collapse Into Now – literally references Berlin and the U-Bahn, but isn’t anything remarkable by the band’s high standards, and the motion graphics are fairly average as well. However, I will give them full credit for using FF Transit – the typeface actually designed for and used by Berlin’s official transit map.

I’ve had quite a few requests for a review of the 🔸澳洲10定位胆全天计划map above, which is concept art for the movie Zootopia by art director, Matthias Lechner. The map does🔸澳洲幸运10预测 appear briefly at one point of the movie as well.

Leaving aside the logistical nightmare that would occur from having so many loop lines in a transit system, this is a fun little map. As one might expect from a Disney film, it comes across almost like a transit system for a theme park, with separate themed zones or regions, with distinct and definite boundaries between them. Tundratown (which I’m guessing is cold, having not seen the film yet) gives way instantly to the tropical Rainforest District and so on. The names of the stations are also themed – Frosty Road, Drift Street, Avalanche Avenue, etc. in the aforementioned Tundratown – which is either cute or twee, depending on y🔸澳洲幸运10冠军定位计划outlook.

Designwise, the map is pretty simple. The background colours are perhaps a little heavy, the geography seems overly detailed, and the labelling of stations is a little haphazard: lots of angles and names cutting across route lines. The ZTA logo is a little uninspired as well, but this is a neat concept.

It is interesting to compare this concept map to one that appears on a large format cinema standee (second picture above, photo taken by me). This represents a strip map in a subway car, and has a definite – and almost certainly intentional – New York vibe to it. The routes seem to be quite different to those in the concept map: a lot of the route and station names are the same, but they’ve all been moved around a lot, with almost all the stations seemingly located on one central trunk line. Strangely, all the lines are now called loops, but none of them actually seem to form an actual loop! I do like the icons for the trains to the left: each one has ears that correspond to the type of animal referenced – mouse ears for the Little Rodentia Loop, for example.

A “near future” combined DC/Baltimore rail transit map from the TV series “The 100″. Looks like the Wyman design of the DC map won the day 🔸澳洲开奖 WMATA and the MTA merged. A fun prop indeed – and one that has r/The100 on Reddit talking – but seriously: what transit map doesn’t label any stations at all?
