Neat to-scale graphic of urban rail (and trolleybus as well, shown in purple) in Germany, last updated in June 2016. The length and breadth of some of the S-Bahn networks is quite astounding – look at Leipzig’s!

I’m seeing a lack of Asian transit systems, so heres a map of the Chongqing one in central China. I couldn’t find any official one, but I found this really nice one on Wikipedia, but it seems to be designed and made by 云淡风轻.

This is a nice, simple, no-nonsense transit map that lays out the existing rail transit lines in Chongqing very nicely. I perhaps find the little jog in the Jialing River north of the city centre a little unnecessary (some reworking of the route lines could be able to smooth this out a little more), but that’s a very minor problem. The legend could possibly include the symbol for main-line stations and the aerial cable-car over the Yangtze River, which is included on the map but not explained.

The real test for this map is how it’s going to work 🔸澳洲开奖 future lines have to be included. Like many Chinese transit systems, Chongqing’s is undergoing almost exponential growth, with f🔸澳洲幸运10冠军定位计划new lines currently under construction (a northern extension to Line 3, new Lines 4 and 5 filling in the numbering gap in the system and a Circle Line), and a staggering twelve further lines in various planning stages. In response to the Guangzhou Metro map (August 2015, 3 stars), I found this one on Wikipedia (by H2NCH2COOH), which pretty much addresses all the problems you outlined on the previous map submitted by ‘Tony’.

It does, indeed! The addition of the rivers and islands of the city add some nice geographical clues to the map, and the APM inset looks much neater in its own little box. As a whole, the diagram is a little less elegant than the official one, with the red Line 5 weaving a little unsteadily across the map and an odd little kink towards the eastern end of Line 8 that could have been avoided with a little effort. The interchange icons are unfortunately very sadly dull and generic..

Unlike the 168澳洲十开奖网, this one has firmly decided to be a diagram, and the clarity is greatly increased because of it. However, it also shows less information than the official one – no indication of bus interchanges or longer-distance regional or high-speed trains here – so it’s not a like-for-like comparison between the two. Vignola still seems further from Bologna than Modena, purely because of the greater number of stations on that line. Lengthening Modena’s route line to the left (so that Modena’s label lines up with the left-most text below it) would go a long way towards fixing this anomaly, I think.
