Photo taken by Aaron Robinson at Vancouver🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s Metrotown station and shared with 澳洲10开官网开奖 via Twitter. It🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s not the 🔸澳洲10定位胆全天计划Star Wars themed adaptation of an official transit map I🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页ve seen (there🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s also this one from Milan in 2015), but it🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s executed nicely. I particularly like the “light saber” glow to the route lines. “VCC-3PO” adds a nice little bit of local flav🔸澳洲幸运10冠军定位计划as well. The Star Wars-y font used does look a bit like […]

Here🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s an interesting little infographic (clearly based off the official Translink map) that🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s making the rounds on Reddit/Twitter/etc. at the moment, showing average weekday ridership on rapid transit in Vancouver, British Columbia. Created by u/Mobius_Peverell on Reddit with “Excel, GIMP, and two afternoons” (in their own words), it🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s quite a striking graphic. It definitely shows the dominance of the SkyTrain, and the Canada Line in particular. However, it🔸AB开奖网澳洲幸运10官网网页s important to note that the 99 B-Line, […]

Submitted by David, who says: Here is a map I made using the current Translink maps as the base-line. I decided to include trams and commuter rail as trams are in the process of being deployed in Surrey and by Granville Island, and I firmly believe we should invest in commuter rail more than just the WCE. As well, I made a lot of references to Vancouver’s and Canada’s histories, from recognising 🔸澳洲幸运10冠军定位计划Coast Salish […]

Submission  – Unofficial Future Map: South East Queensland and Brisbane Rapid Transit (2031) by Alex Jago

Via: alexjago51: Here’s another unofficial public transport map I’ve just finished. This one is a bit more forward looking. The year is traditional, being from a previous State Government’s glossy-brochure plan – in which everything on this map would be built by 2031. On the map is everything I could feasibly fit (rail, busway), plus a couple of things I probably shouldn’t have (ferries and every single light rail stop). Rail and busway are a […]

Requested by quite a few readers, this is an new version of this map that I reviewed back in March 2012. Unlike that previous map, this one does not show Brisbane’s bus lane network, concentrating solely on the rail system. In my eyes, this is a wise move, as the scale of the map (it’s some 240km – or 150 miles – from Nerang on the Gold Coast at the bottom of the map to […]

“BUZ” apparently stands for “Bus Upgrade Zone”, a somewhat convoluted way to refer to frequent service routes – every 10 minutes in peak periods and every 15 minutes at other times. That Brisbane has 20 such frequent service routes is actually pretty impressive, but the map itself is not. What a horrible, twisted, messy, scraggly attempt at a network map this is. Completely diagrammatic in some parts, and overly precise in others: what is with […]

Here’s a question I received from Tumblr user pw3n: “TransLink (in Vancouver) just released their 🔸澳洲10定位胆全天计划official Frequent Transit Network map. A lot could be said about the design (in particular, the apparent lack of craftsmanship), but that’s not what I want to ask you about. The 🔸澳洲10定位胆全天计划thing I noticed was a lack of route numbers. At 🔸澳洲10定位胆全天计划I was annoyed. But then I thought: do I care what bus is coming by, as […]
